MissionsWe strive to share God’s love in tangible ways with our local community, people all around our region, and our brothers and sisters around the world.
The Peak has partnered with for a number of years with All God’s Children UMC in Aulander, NC. Aulander is in the second poorest county in North Carolina. We do several food drives each year including a snack food drive for their after school program. At Christmas, we purchase gifts for people in their community. Contact Sheryl Pollard to get involved.
At the Peak we have a team that takes bike donations, repairs and distributes bicycles to those in need. This ministry has provided critical transportation for adults and has been able to give joy to kids with a gift of their own bike. We give away over 100 bicycles each year!
Donations: Bikes can be dropped off at the Church year round (please contact Sage or Mark). Additionally we post specific donation days (Bikes for the World and Bicycle Man Outreach partnerships). A Tax receipt is available upon request.
Repair Days: We hold a repair day in the Spring and Fall where anyone can participate. Adults and kids can come together in fellowship for washing, making simple to complex repairs, test riding and salvaging bikes.
Organized Rides: If you are looking to find an opportunity for fellowship with other road and/or mountain bikers, we participate in organized rides coordinated through the Spiritual Spinners.

The Peak assists by providing volunteers at their pantry and also with weekly food donations and several food drives a year. You can donate non-perishable foods to the blue bin located in our lobby on Sunday mornings. Learn more about how to partner with this agency. Contact Brenda Steen to get involved.
